We went to the same middle school together but fate didn’t bring us to each other until many years later. A few glasses of wine and one Facebook DM later (along with some encouragement from friends), Emily slid right in to Kyle’s messages, asking for a date.

Our first date was at a bar/arcade in Hickory where we then left to go polar plunge at Lake Lookout in the middle of January. Luckily no one got sick!

Here we are, several “I love you’s” later!
